Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Category Specialist to join their high-impact Optimize Team on a 12-month contract engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the development and execution of sub-category strategies for enterprise applications, SaaS, AI tooling, and cloud solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to design forward-looking sourcing strategies that optimize cost and performance
• Oversee Software Asset Management tools to maintain license compliance and enhance supplier performance through data-driven analysis

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Category Management or Procurement experience, specifically with enterprise applications, SaaS, or cloud solutions
• Proven ability to develop category strategies and executive-ready deliverables
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to procurement challenges
• Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities
• Undergraduate or advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) preferred
