Software Configuration Technician

Job Summary

Supporting the U.S. Army's Holistic Health & Fitness initiative, the full-time Software Configuration Technician will manage software configuration management, build coordination, and version control, ensuring proper documentation and release of software artifacts in alignment with Government direction.

Key responsibilities

• Support configuration management activities, including version control and change tracking for software components
• Maintain configuration records and repositories in accordance with approved processes
• Assist with tracking configuration items and dependencies across software components and coordinate software builds and releases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting software configuration management or technical support functions
• Familiarity with version control systems and basic software release processes
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
