Software Cost Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on optimizing healthcare cost-processing solutions, the full-time Software Cost Engineer will analyze, implement, and validate software applications using C#, Rust, SQL, and JSON, while collaborating with stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications and services
• Analyze and support EDI transaction processing, including troubleshooting data exchanges
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with no experience required
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Rust, and SQL
• Experience with EDI transactions and healthcare benefits industry knowledge
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data frameworks
• Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver scalable data solutions independently
