Job Summary

To enhance SAS's design system, a full-time Software Developer will develop and maintain front-end components, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and accessibility requirements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front-end components that meet design intent and quality standards
• Collaborate with designers to refine specifications and ensure a smooth design-to-development handoff
• Write unit tests and documentation for components to ensure reliability and usability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of front-end development experience with modern technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Experience with building accessible web interfaces and understanding WCAG standards
• Familiarity with component-based architectures and design systems
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
