Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Collaborate with teams to integrate APIs and support deployment and performance of back-end services on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and back-end integration work
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and API management
• U.S. Citizenship required and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
