Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions and develop RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to retrieve and serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit testing

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Strong understanding of structured healthcare data and EDI transactions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
