Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal data services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for healthcare data retrieval and transformation
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and participate in code reviews

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and deployment practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
