Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Software Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and contribute to an Angular-based dashboard front-end
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing across back-end services

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Working knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
