Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, develop RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to retrieve and serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application deployment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
