Software Developer
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain cloud-based applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and transforming healthcare records
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of back-end services
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, specifically Java and/or NodeJS
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
