Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring accurate data transformation and delivery
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and support deployment and monitoring of services on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
