Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain cloud-based applications, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and serving healthcare records
• Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate data integration and contribute to an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and back-end integration
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and API management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
