Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Software Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and integration with internal platforms

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
