Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Software Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions, while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and RESTful APIs for healthcare data processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and API integration
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews while applying Agile best practices

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
