Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records
• Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end and integrate with internal platform APIs
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing across services

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
