Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end, ensuring accurate data presentation to users

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and version control using Git/GitHub
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
