Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve structured healthcare data
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable data delivery and support deployment and monitoring of back-end services on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
