Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and integrate with internal platforms to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support a cloud-based application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data presentation and performance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
