Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Software Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data processing and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with teams to integrate APIs and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on back-end technologies such as Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integration of APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
