Software Developer and DBA

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Developer/DBA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application components using ESQL-C and Informix technologies
• Write and maintain Bash and POSIX shell scripts on Red Hat Linux and HP-UX
• Support database administration tasks and act as a backup to the Lead Informix DBA

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in application development and/or database engineering
• Strong Informix SQL and schema design skills
• Proficiency with ESQL-C and shell scripting (Bash/Korn)
• Experience working in Red Hat Linux and HPUX environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field
