Software Developer Engineer in Test

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic QA organization, the Software Developer Engineer in Test will develop, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Groovy in a remote contract position, ensuring the quality of innovative web applications and backend APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to validate UI, services, and APIs
• Identify gaps in test coverage and implement solutions for complete validation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle from inception to launch

Required qualifications

• 4-5 years of hands-on Java software development experience with strong object-oriented programming knowledge
• Proven experience in test automation using Java and familiarity with Playwright
• Experience with Rest Assured for API validation
• Proficient in JUnit or TestNG testing frameworks
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
