Software Developer for dComms

Job Summary

To support the dComms project, a contract Software Developer for dComms will develop and maintain a secure web-based management application, focusing on digital resilience and working in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a portable and secure web application for managing dComms services, users, and the host system
• Collaborate with external organizations for user experience and information security audits, integrating feedback into the product
• Contribute to code repositories, write documentation, and provide support and demos to end-users and partners

Required qualifications

• Experience with Linux server administration
• Understanding of core internet networking fundamentals
• Proven experience with API tools for OCI image compatible container orchestration (Docker, Podman, etc.)
• Backend software development experience, preferably in Go, PHP, or Python
• Experience with frontend development and Git
