Software Developer II
Job Summary
Contributing to the evolution of a critical workflow platform, the full-time salaried Software Developer II will design and build backend services and APIs, focusing on scalable systems and AI-enabled orchestration in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to core capabilities within the Dayforce Workflow platform to deliver scalable workflow experiences
- Design and build backend services and APIs that support reusable workflow orchestration across multiple business domains
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews, ensuring the scalability and reliability of workflow systems
Required qualifications
- Experience with C#/.NET and modern backend development practices
- Strong understanding of SQL Server fundamentals and query performance
- Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable application design
- Experience building or integrating AI-enabled applications or developer tooling
- Comfortable working within larger interconnected codebases and contributing to enterprise systems
