Software Developer II

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Developer II will perform routine to complex programming tasks, troubleshoot support issues, and contribute to technical designs while mentoring other developers.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot issues with a proprietary case management system and perform complex coding and debugging of applications
• Write code that adheres to established readability principles and participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
• Research and apply findings to improve code quality and contribute to team objectives during scrum meetings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in software development within a business environment, including web development and web services
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to the team's projects
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Design concepts and development patterns
• Experience with case management systems or financial management systems is highly desirable
