Software Developer III

Job Summary

Supporting a federal IHS contract, the full-time Software Developer III will develop technical solutions for clinical applications using MUMPS/FileMan within the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS), while collaborating effectively on a distributed team to address complex software challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and recommends technical solutions to meet client requirements and solve moderately complex software problems
• Designs test scenarios for functional and regression testing of complex software solutions
• Investigates and resolves software support tickets submitted by end users

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Eight years of experience, with at least six years in specialized healthcare information technology (HIT) system design and development
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
