Software Developer in Test

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Software Developer in Test will contribute to software design, perform testing tasks, and create automation testing tools and frameworks, ensuring the robustness and performance of production software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop test scripts using Python for API and implement automation testing frameworks
• Execute software testing tasks and maintain tracking of defects in JIRA and Azure
• Attend Sprint Ceremonies and support production deployments while validating the production environment post-release

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in software development or quality assurance roles
• Proficiency in designing front-end web application tests and performing API tests using Postman
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks, including Python, Selenium, Cucumber, and Jenkins
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software testing life cycle (STLC) practices
