Software Developer in Test

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) who will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts to ensure high-quality software delivery for Veterans Affairs projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
• Lead testing activities and document results, ensuring software and IT systems operate defect-free
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and JUnit
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
