Software Developer in Test

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Software Developer in Test (SDET) for a full-time remote position, responsible for developing and executing test plans, conducting software tests, and documenting results to ensure high-quality deliverables in a Veterans Affairs environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software systems
• Lead testing efforts and document results, providing analysis and resolutions for identified issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives and methodologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
