Software Developer in Test

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs initiatives, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts to ensure high-quality software deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to validate software systems
• Lead testing activities and document results, ensuring adherence to organizational standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium and JUnit
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
