Job Summary
Experienced in software development, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts to ensure high-quality software deliverables for Veterans Affairs projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software systems
- Conduct tests and verification activities to ensure software operates correctly and is free from defects
- Document test results, support analysis of outcomes, and communicate findings to management and stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
