Software Developer in Test
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and lead testing efforts to ensure software quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Conduct walkthroughs of test cases with project stakeholders and document results
- Analyze test results, resolve issues, and report progress to management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in writing and executing automated test cases and scripts
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools
