Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, write test cases, and ensure software quality through both manual and automated testing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality
- Lead testing efforts and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders
- Implement test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium and JUnit
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
