Software Developer in Test
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, conduct software testing, and document test results while ensuring high-quality deliverables for complex software projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Perform and lead testing activities on software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
- Document and communicate test results while supporting the analysis of outcomes and resolution of issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, as well as CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
