Software Developer in Test
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans and cases, ensure high-quality software deliverables, and lead testing efforts for IT systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure software quality
- Lead testing activities and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders
- Implement improvements to testing processes and contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, as well as CI/CD tools
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
