Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans and procedures, ensuring software quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and procedures for software and IT systems
- Lead testing efforts, document results, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans
