Software Developer in Test
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Software Developer in Test (SDET) for a full-time remote position, responsible for developing and executing test plans, writing test cases, and ensuring high-quality software deliverables in support of Veterans Affairs projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results effectively
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results and resolve issues, while contributing to process improvements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing, with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, as well as CI/CD tools
