Software Developer in Test
Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, create test cases and scripts, and lead testing efforts to ensure software quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for software systems
- Lead testing efforts and document results while collaborating with project stakeholders
- Implement test automation frameworks and support continuous integration/deployment processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
