Software Developer Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Providing remote support services for the Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) software development process, the full-time Software Developer Subject Matter Expert will focus on analyzing, designing, and implementing complex web applications while ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies and quality assurance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and maintain application and COTS software while ensuring robust documentation and user-centered design
• Implement business logic, data access code, and automated test cases for complex web application architectures
• Participate in cross-functional teams and support the team process to ensure effective collaboration and communication

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, including analyzing, designing, and troubleshooting web applications
• Expert-level proficiency in HTML, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, Angular, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and cloud computing using AWS Microservices
• Familiarity with frameworks like Apache and Spring (especially Spring MVC and Spring Boot)
• U.S. Citizenship and a current DoD T3 investigation closure date less than 5 years old
