Software Development Engineer 2

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Software Development Engineer 2 will independently own features and services within the outbound inventory application portfolio, contributing to system design discussions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory movement workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently deliver features and services for outbound inventory applications while participating in system design discussions
• Conduct thorough code reviews and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code implementations and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience with Java-based microservices architecture
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, React, and Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automated testing frameworks like JUnit
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
