Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to Valkey's codebase and roadmap development
- Engage in community discussions, maintain visibility, and contribute to documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams, provide technical expertise, and represent the project at events
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in C or C++ development
- Prior experience contributing to open-source projects, especially Valkey/Redis
- Deep understanding of key: value databases
- Experience in distributed environments and open-source developer communities
- Track record of contributing to database or open-source projects
