Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement media-specific validation layers and diagnostics for common misuse patterns
• Analyze bug reports to identify patterns that can be prevented through improved diagnostics
• Collaborate with teams to create developer-facing debugging guidance and validate tooling effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Four to six years of experience debugging low-level, performance-sensitive software
• Three to five years of experience designing or enhancing debug layers and validation tools
• Strong understanding of media pipelines and graphics APIs
• Proven experience building diagnostics and validation layers
• Experience working close to operating systems or performance-sensitive components
