Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in validating product quality, the full-time Software Development Engineer will develop automation frameworks and applications using Java, JavaScript, and NodeJS, while also writing automated tests and managing deployment processes, with the flexibility to work remotely one or more days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and applications, including automated API testing and build processes
• Collaborate with software engineers to write efficient automation code and perform code reviews
• Drive scrum meetings and serve as a mentor for junior engineers, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Five years of experience in developing automation frameworks and applications using Java, JavaScript, and NodeJS
• Proficiency in writing automated tests using Cypress and performing API testing with Postman or REST Assured
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with SQL for database operations and version control using GitHub
