Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Software Development Engineer, the candidate will build and maintain full stack features, design scalable APIs, and develop modern user interfaces using technologies such as CakePHP, PostgreSQL, and SvelteKit.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain full stack features using CakePHP, PostgreSQL, and SvelteKit
• Design scalable, multi-tenant systems and APIs while optimizing performance across backend queries and frontend rendering
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-impact features and contribute to code reviews

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in PHP (CakePHP preferred) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Svelte or React
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and data modeling
• Familiarity with AWS environments (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)
