Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

To support mission-critical laboratory systems, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer III will design, develop, and maintain high-performance LIMS applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance system scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document technical specifications using flowcharts, ER diagrams, and pseudocode
• Develop, test, and integrate high-quality software while adhering to modern engineering standards
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Virtual LIMS and support production environments, including Tier 3 troubleshooting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years, or a PhD, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
• Strong database design skills and proficiency in SQL Server or similar RDBMS
• Well-versed in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
