Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Software Development Engineer on the Agent Runtime team, the candidate will implement key runtime components and services for secure agent execution, focusing on design, coding, testing, and operations to ensure policy enforcement and reliability in production.

Key responsibilities

• Build backend services and runtime components for cell lifecycle and execution control
• Implement policy-aware data, context, tool, and model access pathways
• Collaborate with senior engineers and partner teams on roadmap delivery and support production operations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development engineering, including designing and deploying software solutions
• Experience building complex applications on Kubernetes, including custom resource definitions (CRDs)
• Solid foundation in distributed systems fundamentals, APIs, and data modeling
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages used for backend systems
• Working knowledge of security fundamentals, including authentication and authorization concepts
