Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic product team, the remote contract Software Development Engineer will design, develop, test, and evaluate software systems that support machine learning workflows and scientific computing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, manage, and write the code base for customer-facing GitHub repositories
• Coordinate with a cross-functional product team to support and unblock onboarded customers
• Author repeatable agents and publish community assets to establish technical best practices

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience using GitHub and managing version control in software development
• 1-2 years of familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and machine learning concepts (such as API/MCP)
• 1-2 years of experience applying software engineering practices to scientific computing, simulations, computational science, or related research domains
