Software Development Engineer
Job Summary
To support key projects in a remote capacity, the temporary Software Development Engineer will modify databases, collaborate on database development, and enhance industrial controls data processes to drive operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Modify existing databases and database management systems to optimize performance and functionality
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, guiding others in coding these descriptions
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scope and coordinate database development efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant technical field
- 5-7 years of professional experience in software development or a related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary system changes
- Familiarity with database management systems and development software, including SQL and VisualBasic
