Software Development Engineer

Job Summary

Proficient in AS/400 technologies, the full-time Software Development Engineer will develop and maintain critical software applications for the Rx Claim Adjudication team, ensuring adherence to SDLC methodologies and quality standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex technology solutions while adhering to established methodologies and guidelines
• Estimate, analyze, design, code, write test plans, and document results for software applications
• Test and debug applications, delivering assignments within specified time frames

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of application development experience in AS/400, RPG, RPGLE, COBOL, and CL
• 3+ years of working experience in an SDLC environment
• 2+ years of Synon/2e experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a verifiable High School diploma
