Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on technical leader, the full-time Software Development Engineer will manage the technical roadmap for feature data products, establish engineering priorities, and provide architectural direction while working remotely in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the technical roadmap for feature data products
• Establish engineering priorities in partnership with product owners and stakeholders
• Provide architectural direction for scalable geospatial and vector data-processing systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Geography, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Demonstrated experience serving as a lead engineer for a software platform or major technical initiative
• Strong understanding of Docker containerization technologies
• Proficient in GDAL/OGR, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and spatial data-processing concepts
