Software Development Engineer - Federal

Job Summary

Focusing on the design and development of cloud-based applications, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer - Federal will manage deployment tools, optimize Workday technology in U.S. Federal regions, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Workday in the U.S. Federal regions while collaborating with commercial software engineering teams
• Partner with the Federal Cyber Defense team to maintain security operations and compliance
• Develop and maintain deployment tools and analytics for enhanced flexibility and cost savings

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in deploying large-scale applications, with 3+ years in cloud-based deployments on AWS or GCP
• 1+ years of experience with automation tools and languages, including Ansible, Python, and Go
• 1+ years of experience with networks, servers, and operating systems in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Chef, Puppet, and Ansible
• Extensive experience in developing orchestration and automation frameworks using Ansible and Jenkins
